Ascom (US) Inc. is seeking an Regional Software Solution Developer to join our growing team in January 2020. The Regional Software Solution Developer is a position within the Solutions organization for adapting the Ascom Unite software and developing new software to provide local custom solutions.
We are looking for a Regional Software Solution Developer for January 2020! 
The Regional Software Solution Developer is a position within the Solutions organization for adapting the Ascom Unite software and developing new software to provide local custom solutions.  This position will ensure that the development is done with the right quality, within the agreed time frame and with the customer requirements in focus.

  • University degree in Computer Science or similar competence.
  • Be able to create requirements and design specification from high level requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks.
  • Ability to work with complex customer requirements and decide which ones are needed vs nice to have.
  • Be able to design and implement software with high quality from requirements.
  • Good ability to work independently.
  • Good ability to co-operate with others booth inside and outside the company.
  • Be able to speak English fluently and write technical documents in English.
  • General knowledge of the company's products and system.
  • MS .NET

  • MS SQL
  • JAVA

  • Interface and obtain guidance from the Unite GPL to ensure that all Regional solutions are designed utilizing global guidelines to ensure reuse.
  • Key focus is system integration, configuration, customization and build of new SW components.
  • Development to secure ramp-up and execution of common offering solutions.
  • Support all regional pilot and first time deployment of solutions and advance systems.
  • Together with the sales department, assess market potential, pricing, etc. for new solutions and prioritize the projects based on revenue potential.
  • Estimate the integration and scope of the project regarding feasibility, time, cost and resources.
  • Develop customized solutions based on customer needs.
  • Participate with sellers in selling and offering customized solutions.
  • Be the driving force to carry out and complete application project within given time and resource limits.
  • Deliver developed Solution to all regional departments.
  • Provide training and assistance to all regional departments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of developed solutions.
  • Participate in the development of commercial documentation.
  • Cooperation with all personnel in the Region Sales, Partners and Suppliers.
  • Manage / further develop regional portfolio of customized solutions.
