Description
Join us for the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 Candidate’s Forum to learn more about this year’s candidates from Morrisville’s legislative districts. During the event, candidates will have a chance to share their key priorities and answer questions from attendees.
The votes we cast in the election booth are important decisions that have an impact on our local businesses, the livability of our community and the health and safety of our families. Get informed about your local candidates and important issues prior to elections. This is an opportunity for the business community and general public to learn more about the candidates and their campaigns.
This forum will feature Joe Stewart as moderator and candidates from Morrisville’s legislative districts. Invited candidates include:

About Our Moderator:
As Vice President for Governmental Affairs for Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, Joe Stewart spearheads IIANC efforts on state legislative and regulatory matters involving the NC Department of Insurance and other state agencies, and the NC General Assembly.
Joe is a Raleigh native and UNC alumnus, and has worked in politics in Washington, DC, and North Carolina for most of his adult life. In addition to being a lobbyist, he's run political campaigns and served in key positions in state government. He’s a proud father to a wonderful teenaged daughter, an avid golfer, active in his church, and serves on several local non-profit boards.
