Racial Relations
Organizations and institutions across the country are quickly realizing that diversity cannot be the end goal. Instead, we must develop safe, open, and inclusive environments for all to collaborate and co-exist. Through this panel discussion, you'll hear ways of how to foster honest and robust conversations surrounding systemic racism and racial equity, as well as tips on how to be more racially sensitive. Join us to hear from a knowledgeable panel:

About our Panel
With a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, our panel is made up of four top professionals in the Triangle area.
Chris Herndon, the founder and principal of Leadout Strategies provides counsel for strategic panning, stakeholder engagement and brand strategy. He consults with The Diversity Movement, which helps organizations integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion in the core of their business.
Danya Perry, Director of Equitable Economic Development with WCED and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, supports efforts to ensure economic development in Wake County's most vulnerable communities.
Keith Pigues, Chairman, CEO and cofounder of CulTRUE, inc. and CEO of Luminas Strategy, helps organizations make data-driven cultural shifts to improve business performance and increase employee fulfillment.
Tamara Terry, Research Survey Scientist at RTI International, is a champion for social justice, racial and gender equity, diversity, and inclusivity within the Triangle and nationwide. She currently serves on RTI's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leadership Council.
