RushHour Karting, an electric go cart company, will have a Grand Opening of their new facility at Wake Competition Center!

All proceeds generated from the event will be divided between two local nonprofits that serve at risk children: Back Pack Buddies and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Triangle. Said co-owner, Adam Saad, “Our goal is to raise more than $10,000 to donate to Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Garner Back Pack Buddies.” A coveted raffle item will be awarded for free race carting for a year.

Back Pack Buddies supports elementary school students who are in food insufficient homes who rely on school meals for much of their nutrition. Back Pack Buddies provides a weekly bag of food each Friday that helps them and their families with basic nutrition through the weekend. Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Triangle provides mentoring to underserved youth so that they are empowered to achieve their full potential.

RushHour Karting has the first multi-level indoor racetrack in the state, with electric carts capable of reaching speeds up to 40 mph and is restricted to customers 13 years and older. The new location also offers axe throwing, virtual reality stations, golf simulators, and an upscale restaurant and bar.

This is the second RushHour Karting facility. The first one opened in Garner in 2005 and features high-speed carts for ages 8 and older.
