Launch Morrisville Information Session

Description

LaunchMorrisville is one of a number of programs in the nationwide LaunchMyCity initiative started by Rotary International in 2013 to provide entrepreneurs the training and resources needed to launch and build businesses.

Wake Tech's Entrepreneurship & Small Business Center works with area Rotary clubs, town officials and chambers of commerce on 10 such local programs, under the LaunchWakeCounty umbrella. To date, Wake Tech has helped more than 900 people create business plans to develop their small business.

LaunchMorrisville is open to small-business owners who would benefit from the combination of business and financial resources the program provides. Entrepreneurs with great new business ideas will also be considered.

To participate in the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Own or plan to start a business in Morrisville
• Be able to supply products or services that can generate a profit
• Undergo interview by selection committee
• Complete business training once a week for 10 weeks
• Develop a business plan and a budget
• Be willing to meet and/or communicate regularly with an assigned business mentor

Launch 2025 Important dates

Information Session #1 - July 23rd, 6pm

Interviews Start - July 29th

Mandatory Orientation - August 20th

First Class - September 3rd, 6-9pm

Classes are weekly on Wednesday from 6-9pm

Mentor/Mentee Matching Event - October 15th

Last Class - November 5th

Graduation - November 2025

Mentorship will commence in January of 2026 for 12 weeks
