How to Spark Joy at Work: A 5-Step Process to Increase Profit, Productivity and Peace of Mind
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard about the new Netflix show, Tidying Up with Marie Condo. Most of us are aware about the increasing problem of clutter at home, but what about at work? Research shows that for every five employees a company hires, only four are doing what they are paid to do, because the fifth one is looking for something in order to do their work. This is in large part of both physical and digital clutter.
Join us to hear from Barbara Hemphill, Founder & CEO at Productive Environment Institute as she discusses the symptoms of physical and digital clutter, how clutter is postponed decisions® , and how to accomplish your work and enJOY your life!
The KNOW Luncheon Series provides professional development and networking opportunities for women in business. Our continuing mission is to deliver relevant content designed to educate, inspire and encourage a workforce regardless of position or industry.
Nonprofit Highlight: Dorcas Ministries
During the event we will be collecteing items to donate to Dorcas Ministires, a nonprofit that provides compassionate assistance to area residents to empower people to become stable and self-sufficent. With client services ranging from financial assitance to job center training, Dorcas make a huge impact on our community.
Currently they are in need of items for their food pantry which provides free emergency assistance to those in need. Items needed immediately include:
- Laundry Detergent
- Dish Soap
- Cleaning Supplies
- Canned Chicken and Ham
- Rice
- Saltines
- Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
