Billie also received the 2011 Triangle Business Journal Legacy Award, which recognizes leaders who have helped shape the Triangle through their business and community endeavors. She received the TCREW Impact Award, the first women to receive the prestigious award. In 2006, Billie was named Realtor of the year by the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors. She has received the Triangle Business Journal’s Women in Business Award and the Lifetime Achievement award for Women in Business 2008, been named to the Business Leader Impact list, and been named Tar Heel of the Week by The News and Observer, as well as being recognized as one of Business Leader Magazine’s Women Extraordinaire.
