Meet Our Speaker
Gale Adcock is a trailblazer in North Carolina politics, combining her expertise as a family nurse practitioner with a commitment to public service. As a former NC House member and current state senator, Adcock has leveraged her healthcare background to champion policies that improve access to care and strengthen communities.
With decades of hands-on experience in the healthcare field and a passion for pragmatic leadership, she’s become a powerful advocate for patients and constituents, shaping the future of healthcare and public policy in the state.
Adcock has an undergraduate degree from ECU and a master’s in nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
