Our employees are our greatest asset! Curating a benefit structure that retains employees but also meets the individual needs of a business can be challenging to navigate. Our speakers will share tips on meeting the needs of your employee population while incorporating budget and company direction. Their professional experience in construction, nonprofits, retail, and more lend a unique perspective to creating and building plans in any industry. Attendees can expect open discussion focusing on benefit strategies, common pain points, and partnering with local businesses to gain industry knowledge. 

Meet Our Speakers

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Talia moved to Morrisville in 2023 anticipating the arrival of her son in 2024. Talia held a career in retail management, ranging from military gear to luxury handbags. Discovering her passion for loss prevention, human resources, and business partnership, she pursued a career in risk management.

Talia is dedicated to serving business owners and employees alike and actively seeks opportunities to build genuine relationships in the community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Talia is driven to serve, partnering with several veteran-owned businesses and regularly volunteering with the American Cancer Society.

Joe was born and raised in Garner, North Carolina and still resides in the small, yet charming and welcoming town. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University, Joe’s roots have always been deeply ingrained in the construction industry. Joe’s professional path lead him to Costa Rica, where he held the position of a dedicated construction consultant for five years meeting local demand for quality home building and custom cabinetry. This experience allowed him to embrace and immerse himself in Costa Rican culture where he became fluent in Spanish. In return, Joe enriched his ability to serve the Spanish speaking labor force in North Carolina. His extensive and unique background equips Joe with firsthand experience and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges within the construction and trade industry.
