When pumpkins rot in landfills they emit methane, a gas 25 times more potent than carbon dioxide (CO2). Instead of contributing more waste to the landfill, there are many alternatives that allow your pumpkins to benefit the earth long after Halloween.

Drop your jack-o-lantern off at the Town of Morrisville drop site at the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce Parking Lot on 11/9 and it will become valuable compost for local farms and gardens!
