Morrisville is one of the best locations in the country for industries of the mind. Its geographic location at the heart of the Research Triangle, its business-friendly climate and enviable workforce attract not only Fortune 500 businesses in technology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, but provide ample support for start-ups in a range of industries.
The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) is focused on recruiting new businesses to the state, supporting the needs of existing businesses, connecting exporters to global customers, helping small business owners get their start, and attracting tourists and visitors from all over the world. The Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina works to attract quality jobs, foster collaboration with universities and sustain RTP as a continued engine for the region and state's economic growth. These two powerhouse organizations work together to recruit companies to our area and create opportunities for our existing growing businesses.
Join Chris Chung, Executive Director of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina and Scott Levitan, President and CEO of the Research Triangle Foundation of North Carolina for an engaging conversation around recruitment efforts. Chung will provide an in-depth look at the issues and opportunities facing our region and the state. Levitan will discuss Park Center, the first redevelopment effort in RTP's 50-year history, how he is leading the charge to reinvent the Park to meet demands of the 21st Century and how this redevelopment project will impact our community.
