Join us for the Morrisville Innovation Foundation's HOTTovation BizPitch Event and Start Up Social.
The HOTTovation program is a “business percolator” allowing entrepreneurs to “perk” an idea into a sellable strategic plan. Program participants have received free office space at Campbell University—RTP campus for a period of five months as well as a free Morrisville Chamber membership for a year and several business mentors throughout the course of the program.
Program participants are coached through the completion of activities designed to give the entrepreneur’s business a solid foundation. At the end of the program, the participants that have successfully completed the criteria are invited to a special business pitch event. This event provides access to businesses and individuals in the local financial and start-up community.
The business pitch event provides program participants the unique opportunity to practice pitching their business concept for potential financial backing in an environment designed for evaluation and feedback. They will also learn valuable insight from successful business owners who have discovered their key to success. The following teams were selected to participate in the 2017 HOTTovation program and will be “pitching” their business plans: Learn more about these aspiring companies and hear the invaluable business advice our panel of experts share with this year’s entrepreneurs.
