About the Keynote:
Many of Morrisville’s key assets lie in its hotels, proximity to RDU, and unique sporting facilities. Additionally, given its many Quality of Place amenities driven by the town’s globally diverse population, Morrisville is leveraging these assets to drive visitation to the town—especially in the business transient market and those travelers wanting to be at the center of the greater Triangle region. In 2017, the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau commissioned a Destination Strategic Plan, working with area destination partners to strengthen our destination product and increase overnight visitation. Thanks to Morrisville's niche in activities such as indoor rock climbing, table tennis, and cricket as well as the broad variety of dining and cultural options, the Town is well positioned to capitalize on countywide efforts to increase leisure travel.
Hear from Loren Gold, Executive Vice President, Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau as he shares key points of the Destination Strategic Plan. He will also join a panel of sports and tourism influencers that have invested here in Morrisville and are helping to lead the charge. Panelists include:
- Jeff Ammons
President, Ammons Building Corporation (Developer, Wake Competition Center - Joel Graybeal
Managing Partner, Triangle Rock Club - Michael Levene
President, Triangle Table Tennis
