About Jeff Sheehan

Jeff Sheehan is responsible for sourcing and structuring, ensuring capitalization, and overseeing due diligence for Trinity Capital Advisor’s investment opportunities. He focuses primarily on office and industrial projects in the mid-Atlantic region and the Carolinas and is known for developing practical resolutions when conflict arises.

Trinity Capital Advisors focuses on the acquisition and development of institutional quality commercial real estate in the southeastern United States. The firm has invested over $2.0 billion acquiring and developing over 16 million square feet of the most successful workplace real estate projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, including CBD office towers, industrial portfolios, suburban office parks, and mixed-use developments. Investments are capitalized through various Trinity Capital investment vehicles and partnerships with some of the country’s top institutional investors.

Prior to joining Trinity Capital in 2015, Jeff worked for Duke Realty in Raleigh. While at Duke, Jeff oversaw all operations for a ten-million SF, Class-A office and warehouse distribution portfolio in North Carolina, Norfolk, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Maryland.

He has been in commercial real estate since 1999 and has completed more than $575 million in new development and acquisitions projects during his career. Highlights of his office development experience in the Triangle include INC Research’s 258,000 SF lease and a 500,000 SF lease for Lenovo, both at Perimeter Park. Jeff also partnered with Kane Realty in the development of CAPTRUST Tower at North Hills, a 302,000 SF mixed-use project in Midtown Raleigh, and completed two build-to-suit office projects totaling 240,000 SF for Research Triangle Institute. Jeff is also experienced in industrial projects and has developed buildings for companies such as Cott Beverage, Budweiser, Dillon Supply, Morrisette Paper, GoodYear, Lagasse, NC State Ports Authority, and NC Global Transpark.
